Coach John London enters his first season at the helm of the Leeds Greenwave Girls Basketball program, bringing over 30 years of coaching and player development experience across Alabama and the Southeast. A graduate and Hall of Fame inductee of Birmingham-Southern College, Coach London has built a career centered on discipline, teamwork, and the growth of student-athletes both on and off the court.

Known for his energetic leadership and positive coaching philosophy, he challenges his players to give their best in every situation—summed up in his guiding motto:

“When it gets hard, don’t quit—go harder. When it gets tough, don’t complain—just go harder.”

Coach London looks forward to leading the Greenwave with passion, integrity, and a commitment to building a championship-caliber program that reflects the pride and spirit of Leeds High School.
